Mine is a bespoke plaque type piece. "My boss handed me a bag of old badges and a piece of timber from his late grandfather's saw horse nd said 'I want this immortalised.' no pressure right 😅 Had no idea where to start so after a bit of googling landed on Simmons Timber & Resin. So glad I did. He also wanted some timber from his own property worked in alongside it all. I explained what everything meant to him and just left the design entirely up to their team because honestly I had nothing to ofer lol. Best decision I ever made — what came back was something else entirely. It now sits in our meeting room as a centrepiece and literally everyone who walks in stops and asks about it. When the boss first saw it I caught the teary eyes 🥹 Said it all really. Those badges and that old saw horse timber could have just sat in a box forever — instead they're preserved and he sees them every day. The detail in how it all came together — the way the badges are set, the timber, the finish — you can tell these guys actually care about what theyre making.
